About The Informant
The Informant is a publication covering hate and extremism in America. It’s written and edited by me, Nick R. Martin, and it was launched on January 6, 2020.
Racism and hate are thriving in the United States today. Emboldened hate groups and so-called “lone wolves” are menacing and killing Americans. The crisis demands action and dogged, quality journalism.
I started The Informant because the public urgently needs better information and intelligence into the scope of the crisis and what's fueling it.
What is the status of The Informant?
In October 2021, I developed relapsing symptoms of what has since been diagnosed as long COVID. That unfortunately forced me to stop working. I put The Informant on an unplanned and unannounced hiatus. Paid subscriptions have since been paused. My goal is to return as soon as my health allows.

When it’s operational, The Informant is published usually one to three days a week.
Paid subscriptions start at just $5.99 a month, which will give you access to all of the publication’s content as well as its archives.
